Made Layer by Layer

From idea to object.

Additive manufacturing lets us make shapes that would be impossible with traditional craft — and only the pieces we know are loved. Here's how it works.

01

Design

Each piece starts as a sketch, then a 3D model. We refine proportions and texture until it feels considered from every angle.

02

Slicing

The model is broken into hundreds of thin layers. We tune layer height, infill and wall thickness for strength and finish.

03

Printing

Our printers build each object in our Bristol workshop. A single planter can take 8-16 hours, growing layer by layer.

04

Finishing

Each piece is sanded, sealed and inspected by hand. Only objects that meet our standard ship — the rest are recycled.
